Newest CSI, SG-1 & Altlantis eps. (spoilers)
04-15-07 - 1:51 a.m.

Feeling: ok

Watching: SG-1 (Stronghold)

Thinking: I hope it gets here on time.

Lucy's and my b-day is coming up on the 19th. I bought a present for Lucy online (I won't say what it is on here, just in case) and I ordered it kinda late, so that's why I was thinking that. It should be ok.

I have to (yes, have to) talk about the new eps. I've seen. Thursday was CSI. Oh my gosh, it was such a cool ep! It was very Hodges centric. He was getting all the other lab techs together, saying that Grissom had told him to get some fresh eyes on the case of the miniature death scene recreations. Of course, this was not true, but it was Hodges "lucky day", so he took a chance. He actually found a possible lead and Grissom said "good job, Hodges". Right before he said that, I was thinking "good job, Hodges" and then Grissom said that. I know the characters so well :)

Ok, now for the one sucky ep. That was SG-1 which was on Friday. SG-1, Baa'l and Adria were looking for the San Gral (hence forth known as "sg") aka the Holy Grail, which is a stone in SG-1 world, not a cup. Baa'l had met up with the group because he got trapped, then SG-1 got trapped and they all had to work to get out. There was this dragon that had to be defeated before they got the sg (or so they thought they would get it, more on that later), and you had to speak the dragon's name. Baa'l said he knew the name and the team couldn't be sure, so they took him with them. Adria had disguised herself as an old librarian from the planet where the sg was hidden. However she made a few mistakes pertaining to the Ori, and of course Daniel saw through her, so she showed her true self. Ok, you know what, actually this was the first part. This was like 6 months ago, the last ep. before the season break. So, I'm recapping. Anyway, they all had to get through these challenges that were very interesting, like solving riddles, and getting through a time dilation field maze. After all this, they supposedly come to the place with the sg. Daniel tries to grab it, but it is a hologram. Then the dragon shows up. End part 1. Part 2 (the actual ep. that was on Friday) now begins with the dragon. It turns out Baa'l doesn't actually know the name (big surprise) but Daniel finds out what it is and says it, then the dragon dissapears. Daniel tries to grab the sg, but it is still a hologram. Then SG-1 and Baa'l get transported to another planet. Adria is not transported becase she is Ori and the transport is from an Ancient fighting the Ori. She could also not grab the sg, so she told Daniel to grab it, but of course his hand passed through (the sg being a hologram and all). So, Merlin was on the planet. Merlind died and then the suckiness began. Merlin was making the real sg with this device. A similar device to what Jack got involved with in "The Fifth Race" and "The Lost City, part 1", but it works differently. After Merlin dies, Daniel uses the machine to try to finish the sg, but it messes him up. He forgets who people are, then he comes back and remembers, but it gets worse each time. Using the device takes a lot out of the person. Meanwhile, Adria used her powers to find out what planet the team is on and goes after them. Daniel acquires powers from the device and holds off Adria while the others go through the gate. Daniel does not make it through, and Adria overpowers him and brings him to her ship. The rest of SG-1 is now at the SGC, trying to find Daniel and rescue him. I can't remember what happened to Baa'l, but I don't care about that as much. The ep. ended with Daniel on Adria's ship and her saying something about needing him. Damn bitch.

So yeah, it was sucky, beyond sucky. I will be quite relieved when it's all worked out. I feel bad for Lucy too, I mean it is worse for her having to see all that.

Now onto a less depressing ep. That is Atlantis which was on after SG-1. The Atlantis team had found some replicators (reps) that were posing as Ancients. The reps came to Atlantis and took over. Jack and Woosly were sent there. The Atlantis team, Elizabeth and Carson were away from Atlantis, but I forget why because I hadn't seen the first part in a few months (I had seen the SG-1 ep. because they replayed it on Sci-fi recently, but not the Atlantis ep. ). Anyway, they were at the SGC. They wanted to go back to Atlantis to help, but Gen. Landry said they could be compromised and that they can't go. Of course they don't listen and John hops in the drivers seat of the puddle jumper and they get through the gate. They bomb the gate room in Atlantis to put a dent in the amount of technology at the reps disposal (the gate ins't destroyed, of course, but many other devices are). fast forward through some scenes, Jack and Woosly get captured by the reps. Rodney and John go to rescue them and Rodney tells them about this plan that involves using the Daedalus to blow up Atlantis. However, this is a ruse. Rodney can't get them out yet and he tells them that is the plan because reps can read minds. They probe Jack and Woosly's mind. Jack is strong, but Woosly gives in and the reps find out about the bomb. However, the actual plan was to adapt for forcefield into a rep weapon. When the lead rep gave the signal to turn on the shield, he sealed his (and all the others reps) fate. It was awesome seeing them all come apart like that.

I liked the end a lot. Elizabeth was in her office, and Jack came in to see her. They talked a bit about the mission and what had just happened. Then Jack said something like "next time bring Carter". A little Sam/Jack moment, very nice :)

After Jack and Elizath talked, Jack started to leave and then Elizabeth hugged him. It was very sweet. So yeah, I liked that ep. better. It was nice that everything got worked out w/in just he 2 eps.

Ok, that was a lot of typing.

I guess that's it for now.
