Bones and WAT (spoilers)
09-30-08 - 10:02 a.m.

Feeling: confused

Thinking: I don't want to take too long

I'd like to take a short time typing this, but I am way overdue for an entry and I always end up typing a lot so this will probably end up being a long entry. I don't know how I am feeling right now. That's why I said I'm confused because I guess I am confused about my feelings. I am not feeling happy, but I'm not feeling really sad, however I am feeling more sad than happy. Anyway...

The first thing I wanted to talk about is the latest Bones ep. Basically, Booth and the Squints were working to solve the murder of a guy with severe OCD. It was an interesting case, but the best thing about the ep. was that Zack escaped from the "Looney Bin" (as he calls it ;)) to help with the case because he heard about it from Sweets (and I think Hodgins might have talked about it too, I can't remember for sure). I was really glad to see Zack again. It was cool when they showed him at the Jeffersonian. Everyone was just kind of starting at him and he said something like "Isn't anyone happy to see me?" and Bones said "I am" and than ran over to him and gave him a hug. You could tell that she and Hodgins were happiest to see him, which makes sense, considering they are closest to him.

It was really cool seeing Zack again, but the best part with him was near the end. Booth had to take Zack back to the hospital and Sweets went with him to escort Zack. While Sweets was walking him back, Zack told him that he didn't kill the Lobbyist! He told Gormogon where to find him, but he didn't kill him. I was so happy to hear that. That is something a lot of fans just couldn't get their head around. Even if we could believe that Zack could go along with Gormogon's teachings, we didn't understand how he could kill someone like that. Zack is a good guy and he is not evil. He may be naive and perhaps easily manipulated, but he is not a killer and now that is one situation where the fans were right. Zack felt bad about the fact that someone was killed because of him and for what he'd done for Gormogon, but he didn't actually kill anyone. So yeah, it was a good ep.

Another thing I wanted to talk about is that TNT is running the WAT eps. when Elena first joined the team. It's obvious that Danny knows her already, but I don't know how. Hopefully we will see why, but if not, I guess I'll just have to speculate. I am looking forward to seeing the ep. when Danny kisses Elena (ep. 5.13) and I guess that is when they first start their relationship. I think they are still together, but they haven't shown much of the ship in the new eps. Hopefully we will see something in the new season.

I liked the ep. where Elena first started because she learned a lot. The missing person was a hooker who was trying to start a new life and clean herself up so she could get her daughter back. Elena thought they should not bother with trying to find her because usually cases with hookers don't end well. It turned out that she had run away from her old place and was staying near where he daughter lived to be closer to her. Elena learned that even when a case seems like it could end badly, you shouldn't give up. Even when it does end badly, you shouldn't give up, because you never know how things are going to turn out. Their are good days and bad, but the important thing is finding that person. "Quit", "Give up" and "Cold Case" are not in the vocabulary of the WAT missing person's team and Elena obviously knows that now. There was some tension between Elena and Sam too. It definitely reminded me of when Martin first started and Danny gave him a hard time, but of course their arguments where different than Sam and Elena's arguments. Also, of course, everyone eventually understands the other person's pov and they end up getting a lot and realizing they make a good team. I mean they are disagree once in a while of course, but they respect each other. Oh, I just realized today is Tuesday. That means a new ep. of WAT is on today! Jack had to step down as the leader and now there is this really annoying guy in charge. He played by Steven Webber whom I like a lot, but I don't like this guy. I hope he leaves soon and Jack takes over as the leader again!

Ok, I guess that's it for now.
