Catching up on Stargate eps.
02-15-06 - 1:03 p.m.

Feeling: Tired

Watching: The game my sis is playing (Sly 3)

Thinking: This part in the game looks annoying

I am just writing right now for one thing. I got the order of the Stargate eps. mixed up. Probably because I was tired. The Atlantis ep. I mentioned in my last, entry Grace Under Pressure (the one where Rodney was trapped under water in the puddle jumper), was not the ep. that played after Ethon (the SG-1 ep. I mentioned in my last entry, where the Prometheus was destroyed). It actually played after the ep. Stronghold, which was the ep. before Ethon. Stronghold dealt with Baal brainwashin Jaffa and he kidnapped Teal'c and tried to brain wash him, but luckily it did not work. It was ver sucky though because he was tortured and I hate seeing that stuff. Of course he got out though and kicked some butt in the process ;) Also, Cam was visiting a friend in the hospital who had saved him and now he is dying from a brain aneurysm caused by shrapnel from the time when he saved Cam. Because of him saving Cam, it led to Cam being in SG-1. If Cam had died, his friend (name is Major Bryce Ferguson) would have been in SG-1. Cam tells Bryce about his time in SG-1 and what he is doing even though he isn't suppsed to. I understand why he did (Cam) because he was feeling guilty that he was ok and his friend was gonna die, but frankly Brycy kinda pissed me off. He is in the military, he knows that there is a reason why some programs are top secret and why the people involved can't talk about it, but he totally pushes Cam to tell him. I know he's going to die, but I don't know, it just seemed like he should have understood why Cam couldn't tell him, but he insisted and Cam told him. Then Cam let him use thise device which allows you to experience other peoples memories and feel/see/hear what they have been through, all without leaving your room or even moving around. That's basically where the ep. ended. So now I am caught up for that week. The week after is the week that Ethon was on. The Atlantis ep. that was on was called The Tower. The team went to this place where there is a royal family and all the rulers of the place have the ancient gene. This one guy who was kinda like the head lackey of the ruler poisons him and they think it's his son, but they find out it's not. When the King (known as the protector) is dying, Carson comes to the planet to see if he can do anything, but he can't . The king dies and the team find out what is going on, but then they get captured by the guy that did it (Otho). Of course they escape and Tavius (The Protector's son) was in there with them, but he isn't that great of a guy so they leave him in the cell which leads us to the best line in the ep. said by none other than Carson... drum roll please..... Sorry, wee man. Ha ha ha! Er... trust me, you had to be there. Anywho so they catch up with Otho and John is going to fight him and Otho tries to stab John, but John dodges and Otho cuts his own hand. The knife was poisoned so he poisons himself and dies. Oh yeah, also the royal guards are major a-holes, especially the lead guard, and they don't treat the villagers very well. They torture the people for not doing exactly as they want and are just very cruel. Ronon ends up getting into a fight with the lead guard after he makes inappropriate advances towards a woman (Ronon gets points from me for that) and ends up killing the guard. Neither he nor Teyla are that upset because the guy was not a great guy and the people deserve to have a better life and not be treated terribly. After Otho dies, the team goes back and Elizabeth talks to John a little bit adn then the ep. ends.

Which catches us up to this week. The SG-1 ep. was called Off the Grid and SG-1 found these people who were modifying corn to contain drugs. They wanted to talk to the people who grew the corn to find out if there was a reason to be concerned and what there intentions were. The people did not want to answer questions and SG-1 got in trouble. When they were trying to get away, the Stargate was stolen and the idiot leader of the corn drug ring thought they stole the ring even though that would mean they'd have purposely trapped themselves on the planet ;p General Landry talked to Nerus (chilling in a cell in Area 51) and found out that Baal was taking the Stargates to try to start up his Goa'uld lordship again with all his followers and powers (you can get more followers and respect when you have a lot of Stargates. SG-1 meanwhile is about to be killed when low and behold, they are beamed aboard the brand new ship The Odyssey! Woot! So, they go and find the Stargates on Baal's ship and manage to get homing beacons on the Stargates so they can be beamed back. SG-1 escapes with their Stargate. Also, Nerus says he will tell Landry where Baal is if Landry lets Nerus go free. He lets him go free, but he is smart and not only doesn't look at the coordinates he left (knowing they are probably false), but he puts a tracking device on Nerus (without his knowledge of course). Nerus's various devices also had viruses that were put in them that would cause all the ships functions to cease. Baal is really pissed at Nerus and in the last scene on the ship, you see Baal raising a blaster at Nerus, but you don't see if he kills him. It was very interesting.

The Atlantis ep. was called The Long Goodbye. The Atlantis team found these 2 pods with a guy in one pod and a girl in the other. The girl's conciousness goes into Elizabeth because she goes too close to the pod. She gets the team to think she is just sharing Elizath's body and she persuades John to take in the conciousness of the guy. It turns out that the bitch (trust me, she's a bitch) was lying the whole time and she just wanted the guys soul to go into John so she could fight him and try to kill him. Fortunately, there original bodies were so close to dying, they were not able to stay alive for very long and both Thalan (guy) and Phoebus (girl) were gone, granted after much frustration, injuries, injury/or death, and fighting. The ep. ended with Elizabeth and John in the infirmary (due to the stress of the concousness dying) and talking about what happened and then it was over.

So, that's it. Now I am caught up. Hopefully I can keep up from now on!
